Broad Street Bookkeeping came to life in 2010 when I found myself assisting tax clients in the law firm where I worked. So many small business owners wear many hats, and too often find themselves behind when it comes to maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, filing tax returns and staying on top of accounting functions in general. I used my accounting background, eye for attention to detail, and love for efficient processes and problem solving to help people take control of their bookkeeping so they could focus on running their businesses.

In 2017, I sat for the IRS’ Special Enrollment Examinations and became a Licensed Enrolled Agent. Enrolled agents are taxation experts who have unlimited practice before the IRS and are authorized to advise, represent and prepare returns for any taxpayer.

Accounting isn’t something that everyone enjoys, but I love it. I’m passionate about finding solutions for my clients so they are freed up from bookkeeping work and can spend more time doing whatever it is they do best.
